Senior Thesis | Hedgerow
As a kid, my friends and I spent most of our time exploring the Ironton Rail Trail. Spanning nine miles, it magically linked all of the closest towns together, keeping us connected on the summer days when our parents were at work. This trail gave us a sense of independence and wonder. All we had to do was pack some food, hop on our trusty bikes and go. Though most of the places in this book no longer exist or have been paved over, I still enjoy walking these same paths as an adult. I dedicated my senior thesis to recreating this nostalgic, mystical place entirely through watercolor.
